"You are the light of the world. A town built on a hill cannot be hidden" (Matthew 5:14)
We continuously pray for a revival in Dorchester, for Dorchester to become a town where Christ is known, a town that stands as a beacon of light in a dark world.
We have started to provide support for people interested in reading the bible, learning more about God and how to follow the Lord Jesus. We want to continue to build a community of disciples dedicated to sharing the bible with others and to make sure that every person in this town who is seeking will have somewhere to go to ask questions, to learn and to become a part of Gods family.
It is our hope to be able to have a place to meet in the near future, a community hub, a centre of learning and discipleship, a place where we can serve and meet others in the community. A place where anyone can come and have great coffee and cake, be prayed for, be listened to, be loved and belong. A place where we can read the bible together, where we can meet to talk about it and learn from each other.
A day of celebration, worship, and community awaits at the historic Maumbury Rings. Enjoy uplifting music, inspiring speakers, and a time of reflection and joy. Delicious food and refreshing drinks will be available, so come ready to feast, fellowship, and embrace the spirit of the day.
Whether you're seeking spiritual renewal or simply want to connect with others, this festival is for you. All are welcome!
Join us for a week of public Bible readings, free Bibles for everyone, and engaging Bible-for-beginners workshops designed to help people of all backgrounds explore Scripture. Experience inspiring teaching, dynamic worship, and meaningful discussions in a welcoming community.
Discover the power of Scripture and grow in faith together!
One day there might be a building with a big sign DORCHESTER BIBLE SCHOOL. Or maybe it will be part of the Bible Café or maybe we will be meeting in a church office or a community centre.
Whatever the future brings, we can start today by studying the bible together and by learning from each other. Have a look at what's on offer so far and get in touch if you want to get involved.
The other day I was thinking about how it could be done and I believe the Lord put it on my mind that if only a hundred people could be found who want to take their discipleship to the next level, it could be done. Imagine a hundred people praying for it, working on it and financially contributing towards it... Do you have a big heart for Dorchester? Do you want to see lives changed and our town transformed? Could you be one of the 100?
