Before we get on to today’s Bible In A Year, I want to share a couple of preliminary thoughts and also show you a short video.
As a local church, three years ago we set out on a journey to engage 21st century culture with the timeless message of the Bible. This has resulted in 1000’s of people reading the Bible for the first time. We give God all of the glory for what He has done, we stand amazed that He would use us for such a task.
I want to personally thank all of our readers and writers who have made this platform possible. We now have three published books available at any time as a legacy of what has been achieved.
There has been a deep longing in our hearts to see more and more people engaged with the Scriptures, especially in a technologically changing world. For that reason, for 2019 we will be following “Read Scripture” plan which is available on your smart phone for free. Here is a short video, we hope it is a huge blessing:

Once again, thank you and God Bless!
A mentor taught me to always finish a meeting with praise. Whether in the business world, church life or our families it is good to begin and end with praise. Today we are reminded of the importance of praising our God in Psalm 150.
When we praise, we join with creation, with the angels and with God Himself! He is gloriously worthy of our praise. I remember three years ago standing in a beautiful estate on a ministry trip to America, anxiously awaiting the first Bible in a Year entry going live. Little did we know that three years later we would have seen thousands of people connect with the platform. It has been a truly amazing experience.
What a year 2018 has been as we have journeyed together through scripture, finding hidden gems and finding nourishment for our sometimes tired souls. I hope, like me, you have found fulfilment in this journey we have been on together. I hope you have become more acquainted with Christ. I hope you have been driven to a deeper pursuit of the divine, to a more intimate relationship with Jesus.
There may have been times when you praised Him loudly as He did exceedingly, abundantly more than you imagined. I think of our incredible church vision offering, which was six times more than we envisioned. I think of how God so graciously took my mother into eternity, while in the same year giving my wife the answer to her health challenges and restoring her energy.
I have so much to praise God for this year and am determined that my every breath will praise Him. We are stepping into the unknown, but we do so with praise!
Pause and reflect: Praise Him. Phone a friend and encourage them with one thing God has done for you this year.
